The Sha-La-Lee's are the Sha-La-Lee's. That is, five men who are all at least twenty years away from being twenty, who don't dress like a classic 70s rock band, who sometimes dress up as pirates (but only on Sundays) and who turn their amps up to eleven so they can hear them, being almost deaf that is.
Luckily, this blends perfectly with the music they like: bands like MC5, Roky Erikson, Alice Cooper, Them, Reigning Sound, etc.
As you'll have gathered, this Belgian band's universe is made up of rock and roll and heavy proto-punk. The band's boundless energy is perfectly reflected in their two albums, released eight years apart, and is transmitted live on stage with a mad, timeless rage.
